The third new production machine is up and
running. This completes the first expansion plan started in 2005 with
the new building.
The latest addition is the Gantry MasterMill V6 with:
- 15 m (60 ft) longitudinal travel
- 8 m (320 in) cross travel and 6 m (240 in) distance
between the columns
- 3.5 m (140 in) cross rail travel
- 2.5 m (100 in) ram travel
- 220 kW (300 HP) spindle
- 5 dedicated spindle units
Alread in operation are:
- The MasterMill V8
- The CyberMill (TM) VXL
Ingersoll
is now equipped with the most modern and productive large machines in
North America. This added capacity will support the production of new
machines and, mostly, the activity of Contract Manufacturing of large
components now in high demand by Aerospace, Energy, Windmill, and
Mining equipment industries.
