The largest gantry ever produced by Ingersoll is
now ready for production after only two months of installation.
The Gantry MasterMill V10 features:
- 30 m (100 ft) longitudinal travel
- 12 m (480 in) cross travel and 10 m (400 in) distance
between the columns
- 3.5 m (140 in) cross rail travel
- 2.5 m (100 in) ram travel
- 220 kW (300 HP) spindle
- 5 dedicated spindle units with automatic exchange
capability
Thanks
to a large effort of standardization, use of modular components and the
implementation of Lean Organization, Ingersoll is now capable to
deliver this type of machines within 12 months of the receipt of order.
This represents a considerable added value to its Partners.
Ingersoll has 5 similar machines in construction and is capable of
delivering one of these machines every month
The
MasterMill range is particularly concieved for the machining of large
components that are in high demand by Aerospace, Energy, Windmill, and
Mining Equipment Industries.
