Ingersoll Automation Inc. has been building custom machines since 1926. At that time it was known as the Rehnberg Jacobson company. Then, in 1991, it became RAK-Rehnberg, Inc. These names are well known for custom-built machines that are used in many industries.

During its 70+ year history, the company designed and built thousands of machines, most of which are still in use throughout North America and Europe. In the past ten years, it grew to five times original size by expanding capabilities to meet marketplace demands.

Now, as part of Ingersoll Machine Tools, Ingersoll Automation has significant resources upon which to draw for the design, building, and marketing of its products. With this relationship comes the ability to better serve the present and future needs of customers.

Some of Ingersoll Automation's larger customers include:

  • Briggs & Stratton
  • Case Corporation
  • Daimler-Chrysler
  • Delphi Automotive Systems
  • Ford Motor Company
  • General Motors
  • Visteon Automotive
