Ingersoll Production Systems

In 1924, Ingersoll produced the first in-line transfer in the U.S. for producing Henry Ford's Model "A" crankcases.

Today, Ingersoll Production Systems is a leading supplier of technologically advanced machine tools and manufacturing systems to the transportation, construction, agriculture and power generation industries.

We produce a full range of specially engineered machine tools for a wide variety of metal cutting applications from aluminum transmission cases to diesel cylinder blocks to forged steel connecting rods. Our systems, depending on configuration, (in-line transfer, head indexing, shuttle, or stand-alone machines) are capable of low-, mid-, or high-volume production.

Ingersoll brings many years of experience solving our customers' manufacturing problems to the planning, design and launch of these specialized systems.
