Spindle Repair Course
The quickest way back to maximum productivity is a timely,
high-quality repair.
Our course is designed to offer your technicians the training
necessary to perform a meticulous step-by-step process of
inspection, analysis, repair, assembly and testing that is
quality based and value driven. Quality control is built into
each phase of repair.
Your technicians will be trained in all phases of repair
beginning with a thorough inspection of each part for signs
of wear, contamination or misuse.
After all parts have been inspected and analyzed, every individual
component is assessed. Using state-of-the-art analysis methods,
each critical component is then checked for size, run out,
alignment and parallelism. After careful inspection, the student
will be capable of submitting a comprehensive report of probable
root causes for this spindle's failure.
Since a failed spindle is often the sign of a more serious
problem, identifying the root cause of your spindle failure
including the corrective action to be taken-valuable technical
information that can help you avoid future problems.
Some repairs can be as basic as bearing replacement only,
or as extensive as complete redesign and remanufacturing to
improve spindle performance or reliability part quality and
longer spindle life.
Your repaired spindle will be qualified by testing under
simulated operating conditions to verify speed, bearing temperatures,
and critical run-outs to confirm that it conforms to original
specifications.
